Today Hurricane Irma continued its relentless drive toward Florida, leaving a trail of death and destruction across the Caribbean and prompting one of the largest emergency evacuations in American history. Floridians are still scrambling to get away before it’s too late.
The storm is driving northwest as it rips across northern Cuba, and will eventually continue toward the United States. It’s expected to hit Florida tomorrow morning, where it’ll most likely move along or near the southwest coast.
