Judging by last night’s turn out, The City of West Linn near Portland is ready for almost anything nature can throw at it. At this years annual preparedness fair, you could witness West Linn joining in with many other cities across the nation to induce a more proactive approach to emergency preparedness, or as it’s called now-a-days “Resilience.”
The beginning of this proactive approach, as with most things starts with education – emergency preparedness education to be exact. Besides the customary emergency preparedness vendors, they also offered classes in such far ranging subjects as preparing your children for a disaster…to getting ready for the next big quake – that’s predicted to hit the Pacific Northwest sometime soonish.
