BAM, Super Bowl Sunday is just a few days away, and wanna-be chefs across the nation are gearing up to present their specialities to their friends, neighbors and fellow fans. Have fun doing it…but its better to be safe than sorry. Here are some of our safety tips for an outstanding Super Bowl feast.
- Keep an eye on what you fry.
- Stand by your pan.
- Turn pot handles toward the back of the stove.
- Wear short sleeves or rolled up sleeves.
- Keep a pan lid or cookie sheet nearby to cover the pan if it catches fire.
- Remember, emergency preparedness and resiliency are the keys to your family’s safety in a natural/manmade disaster. Be self-reliant. And learn how to cook well, and don’t burn down the house.
