What’s inside a GO-BAG?

carSince we can’t predict the future with any degree of certainty, you never really know when a disaster or medical emergency might strike. Our new GO|STAY|KIT® “Better Safe than Sorry” campaign addresses these issues before they happen.

  • Your home 72-hour kit should have a GO|STAY|KIT® inside and contain other items like non-perishable food, water, unique family needs and pet supplies. Keep it in a designated area, and let all family members know where it is.
  • If you are together enough to have one of these, you might add in a Kit for your work. It should have enough food, water and medications to last 24 hours. Throw in a pair of comfortable shoes too, in case you have to walk from your place of business to your home, or you are asked to evacuate.
  • A car Kit would be nice too, it should include flashlights, jumper cables, a first aid kit, water, a shovel, and warm clothes.

The point is… you can do as much or as little as you want, but the most important thing to remember is to start somewhere. Just start with something, anything and build from there.
