“A GOOD PLAN TODAY IS BETTER THAN A PERFECT PLAN TOMORROW”
– Gen. George S. Patton
Part of any safety and preparedness plan should include the creation of an emergency supplies “GO-KIT” The following is a list of simple and inexpensive items that you can gather together and put inside a gallon ziplock freezer bag, or small backpack.
In a perfect world you should create 3 of these kits, one for your car, your house, and your work place. But…since we don’t live in a perfect world and if you can’t create 3 Kits, or you don’t have the time to create a Kit with all of these items, assemble what you can. In the event of a natural disaster or other catastrophe, any combination of these items will increase your changes for survival.
It is extremely difficult to prepare for every eventuality. However, you can pick and choose from the Ala-Carte menu below for the items that best suite your local environment, geographical location, and specific needs.
