Check this out, we got this from ReadyPA on Twitter, who got it from ReadyGov. They’re saying the same thing that we’ve been preaching! Keep at least 1 week of meds on hand (just in case) and also keep copies of your prescriptions in a SAFE PLACE, vis-a-vis the Go Stay Kit. The reason for this is simple.
- You may not end up near where your neighborhood pharmacy is located, so nobody will know who you are, and it’ll be difficult to convince another pharmacist that you need a certain type of drug, without having copies of your prescriptions.
- Also…a little known fact is that the government does have a limited supply of meds on hand at emergency shelters, so if you have copies of your prescriptions with you in your Go Stay Kit, it’ll be a lot easier to get your meds.
