Copy of Meds 5/24/16

Check this out, we got this from ReadyPA on Twitter, who got it from ReadyGov. They’re saying the same thing that we’ve been preaching! Keep at least 1 week of meds on hand (just in case) and also keep copies of your prescriptions in a SAFE PLACE, vis-a-vis the Go Stay Kit. The reason for this is simple.

  1. You may not end up near where your neighborhood pharmacy is located, so nobody will know who you are, and it’ll be difficult to convince another pharmacist that you need a certain type of drug, without having copies of your prescriptions.
  2. Also…a little known fact is that the government does have a limited supply of meds on hand at emergency shelters, so if you have copies of your prescriptions with you in your Go Stay Kit, it’ll be a lot easier to get your meds.
