We just got back from the 7th annual Tigard Community Preparedness Fair WOW, what a time we had! 1,000 people attended the gathering & I think we met most of them. DW explained the concept behind the GSK over & over again to those eager to learn about how to Get Ready.
The east end of Cook Park in Tigard was filled with 40 vendors, a stage, kids activities and much more. It’s all about fun, bringing the Tigard community together, and learning about all the categories of self-preparedness; like how to turn off utilities, cook without gas or elec., make an emergency Kit, purify water, what’s HAM radio, and meet your neighbors.
