As you have seen, natural disasters are incredibly tragic. With death tolls in the 10’s of thousands, reconstruction costs in the billions, and increasing unpredictability, the only thing we can do is prepare our communities, local businesses, and families for when these disasters strike.
Having proper emergency plans, emergency kits, and coordinated leaders are just the first steps. But it’s up to everyone to be prepared.
