Here are several ways to get “petpared:”
- Build a pet emergency supply kit.
- ID your pet with a collar and tag, and consider micro chipping
- Discover where you would evacuate? Some public shelters may not accommodate animals, find out now, before a disaster hits.
- Create a buddy system with a relative or friend to help each other’s pets during the emergency.
