“All things are ready, if our minds be so.” That’s right, the Bard was heavy into emergency preparedness, as you can see by this quote from Hamlet. It’s written in Iambic pentameter, but because we here at the GSK are all professional Shakespeare scholars I will translate this for you, bringing it into the common tongue.
Simply put, Hamlet is saying, “Hey there, you had better get yourself ready for a natural or manmade disaster or medical emergency by getting all your information together in one place. You can better prepare using the Go Stay Kit to keep your info. safe. So that you, your family and friends and pets can have a better chance to survive a hazard event; by knowing just what, when and how to prepare.”
That’s right, the translation does seem a bit longer than the original text, but you get the jest of it. 😉
