CLASS TITLE: FAMILY FIRST

We taught a class w/Power Point at The Mt. Hood Emergency Preparedness Expo, Our Class description-

Not all natural or man-made disasters are created equal; as a matter of fact, no two are alike. In all likelihood your family will not even be together when a disaster strikes. This class will explore the differences between emergency situations, and how a self-reliant family can plan and practice for various scenarios, including making a disaster Kit.

Make sure your child knows how to respond to an emergency situation; we’ll play a game to test his/her preparedness. We’ll also discuss how to become more disaster resilient, and how to pick up the pieces after the worst is over.
