The 7th annual Tigard Community Preparedness Fair is coming up in a few weeks. About 1,000 Tigard families and friends come out for this event each year. The east end of Cook Park is filled with over 40 vendors, a stage, kid’s activities and more. This gathering is all about fun, bringing the Tigard community together, and learning about all categories of self-preparedness.
DATE: Friday, July 21st, 2017, 6 – 9pm, Cook Park at the east end of 92nd Ave. on the soccer fields. FREE admission, police and fire vehicles on display, live music by Sister Mercy. Participants can learn to create a disaster plan, build an emergency preparedness kit, and get involved in their community’s emergency preparedness and resiliency activities.
