Whether you were attending Volunteer Day seeking information from the many agencies in attendance or you were there to sign-up and become a future volunteer. Many connections were made for the betterment of the community. Community members from all over the Rogue Valley engaged in this free event; the first of its kind for Talent, Oregon. Agency personnel were able to participate in learning more about partner and non-partner agencies. The event raised a great deal of interest and was highlighted on KOBI News 5 during their evening session. Efforts will continue to provide information and participation possibilities at future events.
Our next big event will be a Pancake Breakfast Benefit Saturday, May 12 at JCFD5 Station 1. Tickets can be purchased in advanced (cash only) at AF&R station 1 and JCFD 5 Station 1. Contact Ashland CERT for more information. 541-552-2226
