We had a great time at the 2018 OEMA (Oregon Emergency Management Association) conference in Bend Ore yesterday. We confirmed our relationship with our old friends that we knew originally…but we also met a lot of new people. They came up to us and said “You guys are still around?” We said “Yes, we are!”
One woman said “No way…we had an EM retire and no one knew how to get in touch with you. She gave away all your kits. And…to make matters worse people came coming back into our office & would ask us if they could get some more of those great Go Stay Kits, but no one knew how to get in touch with you? BUT…here you are! Give me your contact info immediately!” I said “Yes, here you go!” So…I gave them my business card. Nice to reconnect.
