Members of the GO|STAY|KIT organization helped out over the weekend. They were part of this crew which packed up meals for the people of Rwanda.
The 227,000 meals created on Sunday consisted of grain, dried beans and rice, and were made by-hand by the many dedicated volunteers. This food is now en route to the women and children of Rwanda.
The event was held in partnership with Africa New Life Ministries, NUMANA, Freeman Motor Co. and the Oregon Food Bank.
