The Cascadia fault is 600 miles long-and is off the Oregon coast. Geologists estimate the ground would shake for 5 min. during a major earthquake, causing untold damage to costal communities, with the major quake reaching as far inland as Portland or the Rogue Valley in southern Oregon.
TIPS: Things are going to get grim. We should get going and review FEMA/Red Cross materials and start creating our 72-hour survival kit. You can create an inexpensive survival kit yourself. Put shoes under bed in case of broken glass.
